I'm planning on wrapping my pipes, removing the heat shields so I can wrap right to the end. I've never done it before but know the basics and the principles so am not looking for a "how to". What I AM looking for is any tips and tricks to make it go easier. Some folks say wrap from the engine back, others say from the end to the engine. What's the best?
Also I hear some folks paint the wrap once it's cured to help keep the fibres together. I live in Scotland so we don't get much in the way of hot dry weather and I reckon painting the wrap might be a good way of preventing water damage.
So, let the flow of genius begin!
