Lord I was born a Scramblin' man. (Apologies to Dickey Betts)
Been a while I guess, but I finally found the perfect motorsickle project. Ultimately unsatisfied with the America and Bonneville, (caveat: as an ultimate bike only, love each of them... 'specially the Bonnies) I plan to assuage my inner mad scientist by crossing a Bonneville with an American to create my vision of the ideal ride.

Yes, I know what you are thinking, but still you read on, unable to look away. I found a basketcase Scrambler for the engine. Hoping to go the stroker route and bring it up to around the 1000 mark. The most difficult part of the project will be designing the frame. The American/Speedy engine offset always rubbed me the wrong way, and the Bonnie frame is just too vanilla for what I envision. Harder than pulling teeth to get this idea across to any of the custom frame builders I have talked to though. "No I don't want outrageous rake and stretch, yes the seat must be more than 7" off the ground." Apparently nothing is so 'cookie-cutter' as a custom built frame.
My monstrosity shall be dubbed "American Bonneville" when brought to life. Hope to have it completed by the time I reach 55. At least have it completed before I am voted off this mortal coil. Exponentially harder to explain wanting to be buried with several boxes of parts rather than a mouth watering one-off bike.
So.

Try contacting companies that make dirt track frames, ie: Champion, C&J, and such. They make lightweight frames with the geometry you have in mind.

A man has gotta have dreams. Even if you never get to pull his project off to completion (which I hope you do) at least it will keep your head busy.

That was a fun post to read! Btw... you say you want to have it finished by age 55. How old are you now (just to help put it into perspective for me and the many others that are most likely wondering the same thing)?
Live to love, love to live.

Yeah, nicely worded thoughts here, Leno! And yep, I think Brian might've had the answer to your search for the frame you're lookin' for.
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Now I know BC MI is a far cry from deepintheheart of Texas, but I have a friend here that does custom bobber and choppers, and he could probably be creative enough to craft up a frame for you, and I'd be happy to help out where I can. His name is Bryan Blowers and I'll throw his website below. Just an idea Brett www.c4choppers.com/

So.
Good luck with this and I think it sounds like a blast! I just recently saw this video the other week and reading your post instantly made me think of this. Good luck with this build man...it has the potential of being something awesome!
