My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker...
Well, she's not actually my girlfriend yet.

I have always had an appreciation for people who can do stuff like that, I will have to go look at my RE tank now, see how it looks

That guy, with his hand/eye coord. could be trained to be a great weldor. (Not misspelled Dwight, BTW)

Nice looking work there. Plus his not on a P/C Help Line!
I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.

Every time I look at the gold stripes on my tank I think about how it was done by hand. It amazes me... so does the guy in that video!

Aaaah...yes. I must say he is vedy vedy good with the paint brush. (...and yep Ryk, that "vedy vedy" part was purposely misspelled, of course!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I wish I knew him personally. I'd like about 10 minutes of his time. I could probably offer him a days pay to do it, and still come out with a great deal.
And you may see me tonight

I tried to learn pinstriping when I was a kid (from a master pinstriper), but did not have the hands for it all. It's amazing what some of those guys can do.
BTW... Triumph still hand stripes all their tanks too.

Steady hand and a sable or squirrel brush. I used to watch in amazement as my Dad did stuff like this. Wasn't unusual for him to drop $100+ on a single lettering brush. I've got them all now and can't do a damn thing with 'em. I guess that's why I never followed him into the family business.

Hey! That looks like DOT work crews. One guy doing the work, two guys standing around watching, and two guys talking about it.
