I tested all three of Progressive line up in road test comparisons and currently testing HAgon on anotehr bike and these guys are correct. I can tell you with absolute confidence you will not be wasting your money, especially with replacing the Stock shocks. There is such a vast improvement with even Progressives entry level you will be amazed. Not a question of if they are better, they really are.
I put my money where my mouth was and tested all three of the Progressive line (the 418 is no longer available was their mid range shock)I bank my reputation on it, no maybe it will be far superior in every way.
I agree with Oldroadie on the Hagon 2810's at least in my current test for the Thunderbird, they are exceptional and have rebound dampening, which makes a great deal of difference as well.
