total newb, who's been creeping around here for a couple of months leaching info, but i haven't found this covered. In november i bought a '07 BA and almost immediately took a roadtrip from dallas to key west to see if the bike liked me. trip was great except for when i hit rain and then the bike just sorta stopped. after letting her sit for 15 or 20 minutes she would crank back up and then die about 2 miles further down the road. thought at first it was electrical, but then decided it was water in the tank. drained tank-no water.read a story about this year model drowning in rain, but can't figure where the water comes from or how to stop it. Getting ready for a seattle trip and i know i am going to hit rain and would prefer not to wait on the side of the road for whatever it is to dry out. any help would be appreciated.
