I had that almost two weeks ago, the night I was preparing to leave the Thompson Falls metroplex for the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.
Screen comes up with a false, faux, fake, contrived XP scan diagnostic page & recommends an $80 upgrade, courtesy of my VISA card number to preevnt future problems. I entered BR549, but it didn't take.
Talking to a local computer guy, he indicated it is a Russian based virus trolling for credit card numbers, which they use to purchase online airfare, then exchange for cash.
Returning home a visit to the local 'puter fix it shop including scans, defragging, vacuuming a 1/4 lb of dust and I'm back in bidness.
Funny thing though, clicking on ba.com I got a page recommending $100 cash sent to Dwight2
