Go to GOOGLE homepage, and check out the cool logo they have posted this morning. At first I couldn't figure it out, but I accidently "strummed" across the "strings" and discovered it was an electric guitar (of sorts)in honor of Les Paul. You can play this thing, and you can even record what you play. I don't know who designed this, but it is way cool. Try it out.

A friend's uncle, Arthur Todd (of Art and Dotty Todd--Chanson d'Amour fame for those with a memory back to 1958), was an old friend of Les Paul. Uncle Art claimed he helped Les invent either Stereo Sound or Multi-Track recording. The story swung back-and-forth over the years, so I'm still not sure which it was. Maybe both. Here's to Les!

I can remember like it was yesterday, Les Paul and Mary Ford doing how high the moon..... "Somewhere there's music, how faint the tune. Somewhere there's heaven, how high the moon...."
