I wonder if this is a subset of a problem I had a few years ago with a "bad" batch of fuel. Sitting overnight in a cool mountain parking lot something in the fuel jelled and I had to clean the entire fuel path to get the bike firing right again. News reports documented that the gas station chain had indeed obtained contaminated fuel and had fouled thousands of EFI cars (much to their collective dismay).
And, isn't the fuel tube longer going to the right side after the "T" and the 'hidden filter'? More room to clog...
