Note: Kuryakyn don't say this part will fit our Triumphs. They do say the #6236 will fit our bikes but the 6236 is the complete throttle sleeve grip which has prematurely broken for some on this forum.

I figured that because both the 6262 and the 6236 fit the Honda cruisers then the 6262 would also fit our bikes. I was wrong. The Honda cruisers must have a smaller diameter throttle sleeve. Still, they do fit with some modding.


I went with a pair of the flame grips as well, after shaving, filing,and sanding the throttle inner, I realized it was getting out of round, so I used duct tape on a 15/16th drill bit to fit and made a tight fitting mandrel for the inner sleeve, chucked it up in my drill press and turned it down to size. If there ever is a next time, I will get access to a lathe and just be done with it. I seem to remember some disclaimer about "Some Fitting Required", I'll say.
