Kopi Luwak Coffee

Kopi Luwak , Jack was an aficionado of it in "The Bucket List".

Eeeww . I tried to get my cat to eat some beans so I could dig in the litterbox and get 'em back , but he just gave me that look .

The problem with Starbucks is that they burn the beans by roasting them too long. I like a dark roast but I havent acquired a taste for charcoal. At some point, you lose the flavor of the bean and all you taste is the roaster.

Is THAT what it is Ed? I must admit it does taste burnt. About the only way I can tolerate their coffee is in a Caffè Mocha which has chocolate, sugar, milk and cream to mask the taste of the coffee. Admittedly it's a pretty good drink but a plain ol' cup of joe just tastes bad (well, for this particular coffee snob anyway!). I still think it's (unsubstantiated) MSG.

Live to love, love to live.

Kopi Luwak coffee, Can you imagine how desperate for a cup of coffee the guy who discovered this stuff must have been.
