The risers just bolt right on. I found they added a stretch to my cables but it was doable, although I did get a little unwanted throttle in a tight turn to the left. I figured I'd re-route the throttle cables to the right side of the frame but ended up buying braided cables with an extra couple o' inches. The clutch cable and front brake line were just fine.
