I've read about this sytem,but never seen one in the flesh. Interesting.

The bowl unscrews from the base of the pipe which is made of metal. You can dump out the liquid that accumulates and cleaning it is a snap. The bowls and bases are interchangeable as are the stems. They tend to smoke cool because the metal stem allows much of the heat to dissipate as the smoke is drawn through it.
