There's a RAT ride happening here in South Florida on Sunday, March 26

Please everyone join us for a RAT ride Sunday, March 26th!! We will go to the Clewiston Inn for breakfast and ride around the lake and maybe to Snake Road and other adventures. There will be the two starting points - (1) The store at 9:00AM (2)The Shell station at the intersection of I-595 and Flamingo road, also at 9:00AM. If you are from the west coast or north meet us at the Inn!! This should be great fun!!We look forward to seeing you!!!

Does this mean you are not going? I was going to call you today and ask you to pick-up some of those chrome inserts for the fork pinch bolts. I called down this week, and the parts guy said he would give me some gratis. Would save them some shipping if you got them for me.

Let me know if you are still going. Actually, I am betting parts dept is closed tomorrow, but maybe there are some on the floor?

I will have a parts list for them when my feeler gauge comes in the mail. Lots to do before Georgia!

I got up at 8am and checked the thermometer on the back porch which is protected from the wind. It stood at 48 degrees.

Let see, crawl back into a warm bed or fight a 10-15mph north wind with temps in the 50s? (felt temp probably would have been less than 40)

I went back to bed....

Well Phil it was a really nice day. It did warm up but was a might chilly going around the south side of the lake toward Clewiston. Good breakfast and alot of Triumphs. I asked Bob from PB Triumph if you were there, I wanted to say hi. He was surprised you did'nt make it.

I forgot to mention that we went out last night to a friend's for BBQ. He had Jack Daniels...

I did finish up blacktopping my driveway late this afternoon so I DID get something done!

since last wed. i have been fighting a severe sinus infection (one of the hazzards of my job) had a very high fever untill sat. night and am just starting to feel human again or i would have liked to go. 50f is no excuse when some of our bros and sisters to the north havnt even seen that temp yet. i feel better knowing phil didnt go but the J.D. is a better excuse than temp hahahahahaha see ya'll next time

I was seriously thinking about it. Had all my gear out in the garage. Drank some OJ and slugged down three Advil and decided the better course was to crawl back into bed. Rejoined the world in time for lunch...
