Wouldn't hurt to look for nests in the silencers and the air box if it has been laid up a while. Might as well drop the bowls (the right side is dead simple to get to) and look at the gunk...that will give you good direction on cleaning requirements without too much work. Then just flat out replace that inline filter with something like a Wix 33027, (just insure that the filter you choose isn't for high pressure fuel injection). Maybe the pull the petcock, too, and clean the screens if it's really been sitting up.
