Sounds like big-hearted Billy is being saved from making a big mistake - selling his bike and investing in the coffee shop that is almost certain to fail.

I don't mean to sound harsh - they all probably mean well and are really nice people but why throw money at a fail? It's going to be a hard lesson for them. Everyone's going to feel bad if they close the doors now but they're going to feel really bad when the business sucks up Billy's money and still fails.
