Wow, I leave for a day and... this thread is schizophrenic...
Just to those who own harleys too and got their feelers hurt, I don't think anyone is saying this video applies to ALL harley owners. But you know the ones it does apply to. We've all encountered them. I know about a dozen harley owners around here (two of which work in my office) and they are nothing like this stereotype. I wouldn't associate with that kind of "biker."
Doesn't make the video any less funny.

...All that being said I realy don't care. To each his own its called FREEDOM. Enjoy it while you can.
Oh GOD!!! Here comes the Texan again with his hue and cry of..."FREEDOM!!!"
Chad! DUDE!!! We're NOT talkin' about the issue of "Freedom" here, BRO!!!
NOPE! What we're talkin' about here IS the idea that wouldn't it be "nice" IF people wouldn't be SOOOOOOOO friggin' CLOSED-MINDED that they "believe" WHATEVER the hell brand of motorcycle they ride, OR where its made, is the END-ALL and BE-ALL in the VAST WORLD of motorcycling!"
And, THIS is basically what made Steve's video so sadly and recognizably funny, ESPECIALLY the (admittedly) stereotypical cartoon Harley rider who could not logically explain his preference for Harleys!!!
(..."Freedom", GEESH!!!...sorry, not relevant here, ol' buddy!)

I like Harleys for that noise they make, but I am part Irish. Potatoe potatoe potatoe. And the way they tend not to idle at stop lights you gotta rev them to keep em goin.

Dwight, I think you would be surprised at how little interest most cruiser riders have in the area of the latest Duck. Many cruiser riders only care about how far is it to the next bar. Since Harley sells about 28% of all the cruisers you have a good chance of meeting a cruiser rider that could care less and rides a Harley.
I don't think its specific to Harley. Ask a Roadstar or VTX rider about the latest sport bikes. They probably won't care either.
There are also those misguided folks that try to buy American.
I am not defending them and I think the little movie was pretty funny.
I wonder what the new 1700cc Triumph (Hog Slayer) would do against that pig they call V-rod. I wonder if there is a comparison or shootout done. My money would be on V-rod.
I could be wrong.

Yeah, about the Harley chicks. I'm not into tats and don't think my TBA has the adequate GVWR.

I also did not see the sense in comparing the Storm to a slug. You are correct it was not a fair fight. Then again Triumph my not like a comparison done with V-Rod. 400cc less in displacement with 25HP more in production. You are also right about Street Rods. Too bad they didn't sell. I thought they were fabulous bikes.
Have anybody ever figured out the % of parts not made in America? I figure it about 20%.

Are you suggesting Harley women are fat? I got pics to prove and dispute that claim
