I didn't have any trouble with the tank. my ends are up in front and around the tight bend on the seat side of the tank I used a ziptie to hold the gum to the tank until it dried. I've had a couple of minor problems with the fenders, but I was able to straighten them out by constantly correcting it during the first few days until the gum cures. I was frustrated at first and considered taking it off, but it did eventually stay on. If I was going to do it again, I would recommend using a heat gun if you have one just to get it all a little more malleable while working.
