Pretty much stock except for the low apes & mirrors.
And the ISO grips, custom cables, tool bag, luggage rack, relocated front indicators, pipes, and......... ! You've done a lot to that beautiful bike. I'm liking it!!

Sharp looking ride you got there Karl. In my biased opinion 2007 was the best year for the Triumph America. I see you've removed the America sticker on the side panel as well.

Great lookin' machine! As an '07 owner myself, is that the Roadster screen or something else?

I really don't know if the screen is a from a Roadster.....like much of the extras (ISO grips, bags, queen seat & backrest) they came with the bike when I bought it. I have since put a new "America" sticker on the side cover....but may end up removing it again. Funny thing...I bought this 07 America from the guy who bought my 68 750 Bonnie (@ 75% restored to original).

That's the roadster screen. They were calling it that before they made a Roadster.

Looks ALMOST as bad as the "puppy" in the background of pic #3. I assume the rope reaches beyond the bike. Nice job, either way!
I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.

The "puppy" in pic#3 is Bogart my 2-1/2 yr old Rottie & yes the rope reaches well beyond the bike...great alarm system/theft prevention eh! LOL.

Since these pics were taken, & after some long hauls to the lake this summer I've been thinkin bout some changes. I will probably be adding a new light bar, "Chrome Line" rider footbards & either a rocker shifter or "Chrome Line" shifter & brake pegs, chrome battery box cover, and perhaps the Hi flow Shorty mufflers.

I scored a stock spot light bar from Mailman and got em installed on Black Beauty the other day. I like the ol school look too. Blew one of the H3's load testing the circuit duirng the install & scored new PIAA Extreme White H4 & H3's from Fast Eddy. The new lighting rig REALLY shines up the road at night and am confident that I'll been seen during the day by the cagers too! They only things I wanna change still are: New Progressive fork springs, All Balls headstock bearings, and new paint on the skins....Black Pearl w/a Black Cherry fade coat. I still like the black but want the Black Cherry to POP / be visible up close. Ahhh...Winter projects!

Can never have enough lights up front (he attests with a certain amount of trepidation ).
Looking good btw.

I dunno, except for some new paint & tuning the suspension (new PS fork springs & headrace bearings) I very happy with ol' Black Beauty.
I was looking thru that 2013 Triumph calendar you sent Bob (BTW, thanks...it's really very ) and there's a pic of a 48" Speed Twin in the amarantha red paint that reminded me greatly of the 500 pre-unit I had. If I do add a new (to me) pony in the stable...I'm kinda thinkin it'll be a vintage model...

Karl, Re: adding another vintage model, I know what you mean. I'm still dreaming about the Norton I never managed to find. Or a nice high pipe T-R6. Or a Trident or...( you never really get them out of your system)
