It seems to be getting more & more popular & accepted (or I am getting older & grumpier
) for folks to reference an acronym (RDGB, CBGP, BR549, ABC etc, etc.) rather than actually saying out loud in a compleat sentence what RDGP, CDBG ABC stand for. When in a mixed audience, I'll watch the crowd and see quizzical expressions. Able to take it no more I'm the one who'll patiently raise his hand and ask "What does RDGB, CDBG stand for anyway? People thank you for asking the obvious.
I am at the point if they don't have time to actually say what they are trying to say, I don't have time to actually hear what they are trying to say
