Thanks for the info. I found the website www.classicmotorcycleday.org and it looks great. Looks like the weather might hold up too. About a 4 hr ride one way for me, so I'll be leaving early Sun morning. Looking at the pictures on the website, I am really psyched to see those classics close up. Thanks again.

I'll be there, snekepte usually tags along as well. Park your bike in the show field, no extra charge and you get a nice event magnet for your box, last year they also gave you a pin. If you don't find me there, check the Deer Park Cycles tent, my "Baltimore Renegades" riding buddies have a table setup. I'll be the guy smoking a cigar or pipe, I'll wear my new Brit hat with a Union Jack patch. Give me a shout.

It is about the biggest Brit bike event in these neck of the woods. Definitely worth the trip.

It looks very cool. I'm real happy I happened on that post. I'm from Blairsville Pa. and didn't expect to find an event like this so close. I'm thinking I might grab a room down there so I can take my time riding down Sat and wake up rested on Sun.

PM'd RidinRef about a cheap hotel room.

That site is a change in venue from past years. The old place could get pretty muddy, hoping this one is a little tidier.

Ridinref, ce8717, and myself are riding down from Frederick, should be at the event at 10 AM or so. Snekepte coming as well. I always park in the show field, it doesn't cost anything extra and you get a neat pin and event magnet (really classy items). So, look for three America's in the show field. If the group wants to meet at a particular time, toss me a PM and we can exchange cell numbers.

If the weather looks like it will hold up Sunday I'll ride up too.

Better turnout than the wet-event last year. The new venue is a lot nicer. I'd say maybe a few less parts vendors, although they were spread out. I did find what I needed for my '66. Rain shower around 2 PM, the spectator field was filled with bikes too, but I didn't really get a chance to stroll through.

Thanks for the pics Al. My camera malfunctioned and none of my pics took. So I'm happy to see these. Takes some of the sting out of it.

I would say it was well worth the ride, but then ride's the thing for me. Great weather, good pulled chicken sandwich, blues music playing and a whole lot of beautiful motorcycles!

They did have some pretty good tunes playing, that's always a bonus!
