I hope I am posting this in the right section.
I am curious if anybody on this board has ridden both and could comment on the differences? They are a lot alike in some ways but different animals in another. The Bville standard should have better performance on paper due to a bit more power and lighter weight. I like the low seat height of the America and standard pegs. It doesnt have a tach though! I really have my heart set on a standard. IM an old fart and it reminds me of bikes back from the 70's. I have to get away from vibration also.
Can the standard Bonneville be lowered just a bit say like 1 inch? Im curious if anyone on this board owns one. I would love to hear from you or maybe somebody could point me to a forum where I could learn more.
