Hmmmm, mine lasts a day or so, then the gold is right back, certainly don't get a year out of them?

Thanks ssjones, at least after your hard work they are just back to gold and the brown is gone. yeah it was a BIG disappointment when i originally got them and didn't know you had to coat them first DOH! anyone know of a fix? i have heard on other forums that people paint the inside with heat resistant paint?
