Got my debaffled long cannon pipes and then brought my America to a Triumph dealership whereas they rejetted my crabs as well as synced them. 300 kms later I've got fuel pouring out the front left side header, and I thought I bust a gasket? Turns out the pilot jet was floating at the bottom of the float chamber when I removed the bowl. I contacted the dealership and they said they only worked on the Main jets and the pilot jet wasn't off because of them. Is this possible, do you have to do anything with the pilot jet when you work on the main jets? Thanks for your time fellas!

First off, crabs don't need to be rejetted...attempting to do so will just piss 'em off, & they'll perform no better than stock.
Now as for those carbs; main jet replacement has nothing to do with the pilot jets, the only way the pilots would come loose is if they were not properly installed to begin with, or if someone removed them for whatever reason & didn't tighten them properly.
Soo...dealer just rejetted the mains, & a pilot jet ends up in the float bowl? Coincidence? I think not.

man I can't believe I wrote crabs! That whole incident kind of jilted me, I can't even write! Hilarious! Yeah I was finding that too coincidental, damn hope I didn't scar the inside of my pistons, all that gas pouring out of the exhaust port would have washed away any oil lubrication. Cheers and thanks B02S4!

It's good to get jilted when crabs are involved and you have gas on top of it.
