just replaced my rear pads at 9800 miles, probably 1800 miles too late. getting down to metal. the rotors look ok, i guess. they work.
much cheaper to put on new pads than to burn up a rotor. the dealer mech told me they probably run at east 300 bucks.
i put sintered pads on from my dealer. pretty easy and straight forward job. now i need to check the front pads...
