Thanks for all the suggestions. Much appreciated. I went with the gorilla glue super glue. I put a layer of electrical tape on the bar first and then spread on some glue. Seems to be on there good. Decided to let it sit overnight and check on it tomorrow.
The bottle is small enough that I can stuff it in a tool roll when I get one.
