D'Ecosse may like to offer his expertise here on the Triumph Stator/R/R connector. What I've learnt from him and others on the Rat forum is that the aforementioned Triumph plug (actually it's a Yazaki plug) is not the best quality - it doesn't offer very large or secure contacts. Aftermarket connectors like
