Those of you that have the Corbin backrest I have a question.
When you're sitting where does the backrest sit on your back?
I have one from a H-D and I barely feel it on my back and even then it's only the top edge of the backrest that I feel. I've tried adjusting it, adjusting my bars, just about everything and it doesn't get any better. I'm thinking that the angle of the stem is wrong for our bikes and I'll have to get the backrest specifically made for the BA.

I have a Corbin seat w/backrest and find that the backrest covers a good portion of my lower back. I love it, find it comfortable and have no problems with it.
Question: What's the seat on your bike?
Live to love, love to live.

With set back risers on your BA/Spdmstr, you should be able to get all the back support you want with a proper Corbin, my niece rode my '06 and she is 5'3" and she didn't want me to change the angle. Perhaps, H-D and Trumpets don't interface.

Do they? Where is it located as I haven't seen one on mine? Irrespective of that, the back rest is great, takes all the pressure from your lower back and - with me - sits exactly at the right place to support a slipped disc I damaged a few years ago

is it just the backrest that's from an HD or the whole seat? If it's just the backrest maybe call corbin and ask if they're different. I don't *want* to take mine off but if you post a pic and some measurements i'll compare it to mine.

Forward or back may take a Victor wrench. But they are adjustable for angle and height.

I'm 5'10" and my Corbin backrest covers L-1,2 and 3.... consequently the 3 discs that are basically trashed in my back. If that's your basic inquiry?

The seat is a Corbin made for our bikes, but the backrest is from a Harley(corbin brand). I have adjusted it,but it still doesn't seem like it sits like it should against my back. I'm 5-10 so I don't think height/reach is an issue. I'll give Corbin a call and see if there is a difference between Harley and ours.

Aside from the shape/size, all Corbin backrests are the same. No difference between Hardley and Triumph.

So your saying the post that goes through the seat is the same(length/angle) with either backrest?
I have it adjusted now where it should fit nicely at my back but I can barely feel it, I would have to lean farther back to really feel it against my back.

Yep, same-same (5/8" square-ish post) I had the same issue, I had to adjust it just a smidge more forward so could get some pressure on my lower back. That's why it's adjustable forward and aft)
