Hey guys you've probably been asked this a hunderd times but I couldn't find the answers I was looking for so..............here goes. I've got an'08 Speedmaster which needs a real improvement with the rear shocks, the wife rides on the back close to 50% of the time, with the two of us and our gear we're probably close to if not 400Lb. I saw someone recommend the Progressive 440 through B/C and Fast-Eddy offers the same but also in heavy duty. I e-mailed B/C and they said that they don't offer the heavy duty anymore and suggested that I either go with the stock 440s or try the Hagon Nitro fully adjustable. I also e-mailed progressive to get there take but haven't heard back from them yet.any suggestions? I'm all ears. I've got the bottoming out Blues.

We total about 400lbs when riding two up. We have been using the Progressive 440's for about 6 years now. We have never bottomed out with them. I know that the Hagon Nitros are very good also. Your choice would depend on price, looks and availablilty. Fast Eddy or Brent at Newspeedmaster.com should be able to help you.

+1 on the 440's. i'm a fat guy and don't have any bottom-out issues and the ride is alot better. i got mine from jc motors. http://www.jcmotors.com/p-14768-progress...-cruiser-m.aspx
If it isn't broke, I haven't messed with it.

I was turned on to Hagon Nitros when I "un-lowered" my bike (along with Ricor Intiminators up front). All I can say is, sweet!!! But, I don't ride 2-up and only weigh a svelte 235 lbs!!
Blue/White 2007 TBA, Thruxton needles, Unifilter, AI removed, Polaris Bellmouth, Bubs, Nology Coils/wires, Lightbar, Ricor Intiminators, Hagon Nitros, Tall Sissy Bar w/luggage rack, Dart flyscreen & Lowers. 130 Mains, TrueGel Battery MG12-BS.

Invest in the ARS option, if you have frequent passengers.
Don't forget to set-up the pre-load (25-30%).
They are pricey but they ride great and look good!
I initially was looking at 'Wilbers' Shocks. But they were 1/8th the cost of the bike (yes, $1000/ pair). But the so called best on the planet shocks.
