Decided to make an aluminium surround for my plate. I used some lightweight 1/2" angle and some thin aluminium sheet. Cut the angle to size with 90º notches cut for the corners then 'Araldited' the whole lot together.  Polished it, (of course)  I then fitted an additional 'led' brake-light strip onto the bottom, wired it up and fitted the whole lot to the existing bracket. I have used two stainless bolts and heavy duty double-sided tape to hold it all in place.   Just waiting for my new plate to arrive to finish the job. Gary

Yup, that's the one. It's tough to get the black paint to stick to the aluminum. I made my face shield out of aluminum, that didn't work out well at all.

Looking good! And (imho) would even look better with those clear lenses Brent sells at newspeedmaster.com. Watcha think?

I've been looking at those Keith but they will have to wait, its been an expensive couple of weeks here.
