Well, ya see I'm thinkin' that that all might stem from watchin' WAY too many Marx Brothers movies durin' my formative(and actually, right into my "golden") years.

Ya see, yeah, I have to admit that I DID catch a litle of this wedding on my TV last week, BUT most of time I was watchin' it, I was thinkin' what a shame it is that Groucho, Chico and Harpo never made a movie named: "A DAY AT THE ROYAL WEDDING"...OR even better, if those guys were still around and in their prime, and if they would've crashed William and Kate's little shindig.

And so, here's one of the scenes I imagined would've happened:

Groucho, playing his "Duck Soup" Prime Minister of Freedonia character, one Rufus T. Firefly, is in the reception line after the wedding, and when he gets to Queen Elizabeth he says somethin' to her like:

"Well, it's certainly nice to meet ya, Queenie. Ya know, I'll bet in your younger days you weren't all that bad on the ol' eyes! But then again, that was a long time ago, and my eyes were a lot younger then, and so maybe not!"

(...meanwhile of course, Chico would've been fracturing the English language while involved in a conversation with, say, David Cameron...and Harpo would be honkin' his taxi horn and chasing Victoria Beckham around the place!!!)
