One of my kids is working as a backcountry guide/counselor at a camp for troubled youths. They live in tents with no television, internet, etc. Last time I talked to him I asked how they fared during the storms which had killed so many. He was surprised to hear of the destruction. He said they doubled up the lines in the tents and went to bed. Luckily no trees fell on them. He said a number were uprooted not far away.

There are three different paths that look like the above pictures (about 2 miles from my place), that path is 50 miles long; the longest stretch is 135 miles long, all at least 1/2 mile wide. It's just mind boggling...

Hey Roadie, Thats what it looks like about 2 miles from me too. Not he same tornado but the same damage and destruction. It's hard to feel total destruction from a pic.
