I want to put a couple cool Triumph patches on my leather jacket. Wondering if anyone would care to post a pic of their customized jacket to give me some ideas.

Just search for Triumph motorcycle patches, here is a few sites I've ordered patches from one time or another.

www.patchattack.com, www.skidrowjoe.com, www.lowbrowcustoms.com, www.nightfirepatches.com, and www.foxhillfarmleather.com.

Get on eBay , type in " Triumph patch " , there's about 425 items .
Patch Attack has a lot of Triumph patches listed there , I've bought lots from the guy .

I got some from patch attack too. Watch out for those on Ebay claiming to have rare 1 of a kind Triumph patches. I have some and they are not rare ( I already had them but saw the ads).

Hmmmm...sorry guys, but try as I might and after lookin' at all of these different patch makers you guys linked up here, I STILL couldn't find one that says....

"YEAH! They're STILL makin' Triumphs! Where have YOU been?!"

The idea is to create your own look not someone else's. Just collect up patches of places you go, sayings you like, and idea you stand for. Then sew em on however you like. Not just patches but buttons and pins too. You can also include other things that people who you care about give you. I got some old skeleton keys. But anything will work like a rabbits foot, or fox tail. I know a guy who has a small glass vile with a baby tooth from one of his children. The point is it becomes a scrap book of sorts for the biker

thanks for all the advice. There are some pretty cool designs out there. I know I definitely don't like the tramp stamp look. To me they just look like, well, a tramp stamp.

well, mine is denim, but it's an idea how the patches could be I guess. I found my eagle on e-bay as a vintage patch from the 60s. It is kind of nice since people ask about it sometimes. Also, the majority of icebreakers about my jacket are over my betty boop. Like mentioned before, you really just have to make it yours.
Good luck, and share when you get it all sorted.

This is mine, I only started with the patches after I got my BA.Com patch, I intend to add more as and when I find suitable ones.

The main thing is to have fun with it, and as MsChevious1
said just make it your own. Good luck and have fun.

Yeah yeah, those are nice patches on those jackets there I suppose, but I STILL SAY the ONLY friggin' way we're EVER gonna get the friggin' word out that, YEAH, Triumph is STILL MAKIN' FREAKIN' MOTORCYCLES, is IF some bright young enterprising soul actually MAKES A big ol' freakin' patch that SAYS that(and hopefully also sayin' that "Where have YOU been?" part that I mentioned earlier, TOO!), and if EVERYBODY ridin' one o' these babies WEARS that freakin' patch on the back of their freakin' JACKET!!!!!

(...come on...in your heart of hearts you guys HAVE TA know I'm right here....RIGHT?????!!!!!!)

Can i ask a silly question? Are the patches actually sewed on or glued someway?

The reason I ask is that I got an Ace Cafe pin badge for my Triumph Jacket and the leather bend it completely before I eventually got it in!, Im thinking that sewing a patch on the thick leather is gonna be very hard!

cheers
Simon

I have other patches on a shelf, debating whether or not I should put them on... I think too many patches looks kind of goofy.

Well now, you've ruined my plan. As it turns out, I've been saving my "life scrapbook" patches for quite a few years and had them laid out on my new jacket. My wife came by and said "You're not going to poke holes in your new jacket, are you?"

Well , a patch on yer jacket IS gonna poke holes in it , it's sorta like a tatoo , it'll poke holes in yer skin .

What have you done with your old jacket?
You could take the sleeves off and use it as a patch vest.
That way, if you're feeling posh, you can leave the vest off and look smart

It's what I did, apart from putting patches on my old one

I've only got a couple patches on my leather jacket, but I have a Levi jacket that I use for most of my patches.
