03 America. Got some barnett gold clutch springs and in my haste to tear everything apart, I failed to notice if the spring bolts were fully seated before I pulled them out. With the bolts all the way in it looks like the new springs are bound, and I somehow managed to lose my haynes manual. Do they get tightened all the way in? It would seem they would have to. Gonna throw the primary cover loosely back on later to try it, any input would be helpful. Gotta few days before my new gasket comes anyway.

Cut it up.

seat the bolts! It is common opinion to replace the four bolts as well. I think they are not high tensile strength.

Yeah thanks, I just reassembled everything temporarily to check it, works fine with a minor clutch cable adjustment. Loctite seems like a good idea too, but I'm not too concerned with the tensile strength of the bolts based on the clutch basket material. Looks like it was cast from old Hot Wheels cars. Lol

Cut it up.
