I'll bet that the higher quality rain gear is great, but I've always got along fine with the plain ole cheapo, blue or yellow pant and shirt rain combo's from wally world. The pants usually have an elastic waist, and the shirt usually snaps or elastic cuffs. Pretty much rain proof, I'd say, 96%. And one more thing, while I much prefer a sunny day, one gets used to riding in the rain. And, I'd rather ride my bike in the rain than spend a day at work!
