In answer to your question, I'm 5' 9" and I weigh in at 12 and a 1/2 stone. I'm pretty fit for my age, and over the past 12 months I've been riding a Daelim Daystar 150 cc - which is a forward-facing low slung cruiser style bike - every day in heavy Singaporean traffic, so I'm getting more and more used to riding at slow speeds and filtering.
I'm an inch taller than you and weigh slightly less. Over the past couple of days I've been in the saddle for over 11 hours, 9 of them 2-up. I suffered a bit of numb-bum but that was it. Power wise, these bikes have enough IMHO, on the above trip I was up hill and down dale while maintaining 60-80 mph depending on the road, although traffic did slow me down but I just filtered past. These bikes have enough road presence so that quite a few cagers move over to let you past, which is nice.
The down side is that there is no main stand to get the back wheel off the ground for cleaning and stuff, but there are ways around that.
Try one out, then you'll be hooked
