Not wishing to spend the silly Triumph price I am looking to buy a rev counter for my America. I want one with a chrome cover that will look good on the bars and doesn't require a degree in quantum physics to fit.
Thanks.

I don't know what accessory prices are like in France, but in the States the Triumph tach is about the same or less than a quality aftermarket piece. Installation of either one should be pretty straight forward. No splicing with the OE tach , just plug and play.

Try Drag Specialties. I picked up a rev counter there and mounted it in my console blank hole. They also sell handlebar mount kits.

This site often lists a Triumph Tach for like $165 USD on ebay, that I watch all the time and want to get, but the dogs keep getting out and Momma wants a new fence. Says they ship worldwide too, just an option. http://stores.ebay.com/NORTH-COUNTY-YAMAHA-ONLINE-STORE?_trksid=p4340.l2563

Ummm, not exactly what you're asking, Gary but it won't hurt to mention... I mounted a speedo/tach combo in the console. Got rid of the stock speedo and added a tach all in one step. I really like it!

Thanks for all the replies. With postage costs added the Triumph one from the UK is looking more likely.
