Ok I finally figured out how to post pics, well almost. woohoo. As you can see she's pretty much a straight forward bolt on bike, I'll keep her that way till her looks start to go. Then it'll be time for a custom paint, polished clamps and shrouds, an 1100 stroker kit with all the accompanying mods and a few cosmetic changes, I'm thinkin tail dragger fenders probably with Tsukayu hard bags, trunk and fairing. Now for mods I like and dislike, I really like my ISO grips and pegs, Memphis Slims windshield {with mounts pieced together from the spare parts box at the dealership I used to work at}, I'm pretty sure the T bird risers and Protac back rest are gonna be my favorite mods given a little time, The Willie and Max rigid mount bags are too small but mount solidly and are of good quality, I'd have ordered the large size if I had it to do over again. Believe it or not I really like my long TORS, just enough noise to suit me, but I do have a set of J C Whitney turn outs I run occasionally just because the neighbors enjoy them so much, personally there's no way I'd put up with that much noise for more than 25 miles or so. The only mod I've done that I really dislike is a Corbin seat that I sold after a month. I've never liked their seats but let a buddy talk me into buying one " You'll love it once you get used to it" he said " they hafta break in". I've ridden a million bikes with these seats in all manner of broken inness and never seen one I liked, but I listened to him anyway. Yet another example of why you should never take advice from inebriated friends. In my experience these seats break in and soften up about as easily as concrete.I sent a letter to the CIA suggesting they replace water boarding with a 4 hour ride on a Corbin seat as a more effective means of torture, I haven't heard back from them yet. Anyway that pretty well sums up this mornings incoherent babbling. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5104/5636525295_8fa162fdde_b_d.jpghttp://farm6.static.flickr.com/5143/5636476339_755c3f08a8_b_d.jpghttp://farm6.static.flickr.com/5226/5636474845_93ce5f9cf8_b.jpghttp://farm6.static.flickr.com/5109/5637053394_d2930e105c_b_d.jpghttp://farm6.static.flickr.com/5142/5636474153_fb8f476cd4_b_d.jpghttp://farm6.static.flickr.com/5147/5637052728_448e36e68c_b_d.jpghttp://farm6.static.flickr.com/5303/5637053104_ec5db4863a_b_d.jpghttp://farm6.static.flickr.com/5261/5636475235_25630d9095_b_d.jpg

Hi Soren, and thanks. I read that when you posted it in my T bird risers thread, thats how I got these links up. Near as I can tell I followed the instructions but the pics still posted as links. Not sure just what I'm doing wrong. Also I noticed in the pic, when I redressed my bike yesterday I forgot to put the passenger pegs back on. I must be slipping in my old age.

This is my favourite picture... just the way the red buildings pick up the red on the tank. Nice bike!

Thanks, That's my favorite as well, if you ever find yourself in Townsend Tennessee looking for dinner stop at that place. They have the best BBQ I've ever eaten, their baby back ribs are pretty much sex on a plate.

Oh Oh,I've just ordered a corbin seat here and it'll take another few weeks to get here.Hope I like mine better. I had the stock seat done with harder foam but even then it doesn't hold up for more than about 100kms then it feels like I'm sitting on the seat pan. I might start a poll on who's happy with corbin. Nice bike by the way.I've also got an 07 America.

It's a matter of personal preference, I know plenty of people who swear by Corbin seats. Chances are you'll like it.

I hated mine but I stuck with it for a couple years. Sent it back for a free reworking and now it's awesome.

Glad you are happy with the corbin now FJ.I remember you were uncomfortable with it,that's partly why I asked who's happy and who's not. Sorry for getting off topic.
