Has anybody seen this movie yet...Night Watch? I heard it was along the lines of a combination of The Matrix and Blade. Supposed to be the biggest box office draw in Russian history....for whatever that's worth.
Looks interesting anyway.

I saw it opening night in Houston.
I've been watching the quicktime preview for a year waiting for it to come out. It was decent. Not as good as I hoped it would be, but for a movie out of russia it was outstanding. Other than the subtitles, you'd think it came out of hollywood. A little different for a vampire/underworld movie with some new effects and a couple old ones (hence the matrix comparison, but just a little and not overdone). Since it had a lot of action, the subtitles were hard to read and vice-versa. But i hear the next movie in the trilogy will be a mix of subtitles and english, and the final movie will be all english. I don't know how true that is though.
I enjoyed it and I'm looking foward to #2.

Its showing at the Loft down on Speedway. I will probably not go see this one though but wait for the DVD. My wife and I are big moviegoers and DVD watchers.
A combo of Matrix and Underworld. Sounds interesting

Thanks for the tip, The Loft is always good for some offbeat movies. Might have to take the wife to see this one, as she'll watch just about anything with Vampires.

Hey Derek! This movie wouldn't happen to have a TUNNEL SCENE in it, where those Ruskies are kind'a havin' a hard time drivin' through the darn thing, would it?!! If THAT'S the one...Greybeard supplied us all with a little trailer of it yesterday!   Cheers, Dwight
