Larry Shep and his son are hosting a dinner Thursday May 5th. Jim Shep wrote in the GA Rally 2011 thread, Quote:

Thursday, May 5th at Waters Mill we'll be hosting Dinner!! Of course the devil is in the details. My Dad will be smoking up a Cajun Ham, a Turkey and of course sausage! I'll smoke over hickory two pork butts which we'll pull. Buns will be provided too for those who'd like them. We'll serve up everything "Buffet Style" in our main dining hall. There will be sides too, but I haven't got that far into it yet.
Sweet Tea and Water will be provided. We no longer have a pouring license for alcohol, but you're welcome to bring your own beer/wine. No Liquor Please. We have a back cooler in our bar area to keep em cold.
Also, we have a nice 60" Flat screen that's connected on our Server, so I would **really** like for you to send me a disk of past rides here in North Georgia. We can copy all the images to our server and stream them up to the TV during dinner. PLEASE PLEASE send Disks to:

I know we're a little ways out, but.. Keep in mind our lot is graveled, so you'll need to bring a Kick-Stand support.
Hours: We're thinking running it from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. This will give everyone a chance to get in and have a chance to eat and socialize with everyone.

We need to chime in so they can figure out the quantity of food.

Larry and crew, while I truly appreciate everything you guys do for this "non event"  I do not at this time think I will make the dinner Thursday, and boy I'm already missing it. Mike

Jimmy, Rhonda, Larry, Kathy, and all Please Add me to the Attendee List, and Thank you for hosting the Dinner. Not sure but will probably be riding solo in my Camaro. Chy and I have been working on some pic's, have tons of them. A lot of good Georgia Rally ones. I'm looking forward to getting together again this year!

Well... next Thursday night is now out. I hate, hate, hate to miss it, but duty calls in the Dad department. (High School Orchestra Banquet). Sorry if I threw off the counts.  Will try to be sure to make it up for a bit on Friday or Saturday...

Moe, the nearest Triumph dealership now is by me in Lawrenceville.. Called Powersports. It sells two other brands so no real emphasis on Triumphs... go figure

Dang! I had to take work this week because I have not worked for nearly three weeks, part of the fun of being a freelance photographer in a bad economy. I have to work til five so there is no way I can make it to the restaurant by seven. So that only leaves friday nite and Saturday... not sure this year is going to work out for me.... I will try but it is looking doubtful.... ride safe... Gordon

Larry, Kathy, Jimmy and Rhonda Sheppard, thank you for the wonderful dinner! The surroundings at Waters Mill was just breathtaking! I sure ate my fill of mouth watering Cajun Sausage and Delicious best homemade I ever had Mac and Cheese!! I could hardly fit any dessert in, still managed to eat several cherry filled Rum balls and small slices of Blueberry and Strawberry Cakes. Of course I had to at least sample the Turkey and Ham! Yum Yum! The Sheppards really know how to cook!! I very much appreciate all your time and effort to make this dinner a great Success!
