Seems you're a quick study, eh Terry?!

And regarding the Sportster's vibration factor...It has seemed a little strange to me that with all the money H-D(especially) was raking in during the motorcycle boom years of the 90s and early 2000s, that they couldn't seem to find the money to update their Sportster engine by re-designing a balance-shaft into it.

I mean, during this same time-frame, Mr. Bloor's company designed and started manufacturing a whole new air-cooled Twin that doesn't vibrate all that much, right?! And, because Triumph at the time was still operating in the red(word is Triumph didn't turn an initial profit until 2001), I feel that there was little excuse for H-D to have not done the aforementioned updates on their Sportster's engine design.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
