Years ago, I gave up a 40 cubic inch Triumph and "moved up" to an 80 cubic inch HD. It took me 2 years of work, including a big bore kit and stroker crank, and a lot of cash to make the HD almost as fast as the Triumph.

Now, I have a 48 cubic inch Triumph and a 96 cubic inch HD with pretty much the same mods on both. Overall, performance is about the same if they are run the way they should be. I have to admit though, that the Triumph is my favorite.
