Got a reply back from Norman Hyde about scraping:
"Definitely not. Of course it will depend on weight of riders plus quality & adjustment of suspension. Last weekend I did 560 miles on our cruiser without problem & no one has ever mentioned grounding one."
I may hack my Rivco if it scrapes too much or sell it and buy one of these.
