I rode a big V-twin for 12 years before I laid eyes on my TBA. On the first ride I was a little disappointed because I was used to a torque range starting at 4RPM. Once I adjusted my mindset to a few more revs everything was right with the world. I actually think it will feel closed to normal for you as the displacement is about the same. BTW, in my younger days I was always atop a high powered multi.
