So I just got my Uni Filter (thanks Eddy) The oiling instructions say to put the oil on the foam , then squeeze the excess out. I understand the concept becuase I used to do it on my sons dirt bike but how the heck do you do it here?  The foam is not removable.

I spray the out side and the inside then put my inside and work it in alittle. I have long skinny fingers and hands so I don't have to much problem

You don't have to oil all of them. The really fine black foam ones you don't have to oil, its just the coarse ones. Thats what the uni filter dealer told me but who knows maybe he lied.

That's cool but that seems to be for a filter with removable foam. Mine is not. Here is the reply from Unifiler... Hi, Pour oil in a small dish… roll the filter in the oil to coat. Then massage the oil in… with hands… Next: use paper towels do dab the excess oil off Only a lite coat of oil is needed. Thanks, Tom Seems pretty messy.

I recently installed a new UNI filter. I used a toothbrush to oil the inside of the filter. The opening of the UNI oil bottle was just big enough for me to dip the toothbrush in, and then I lightly spread it around the inside of the filter. After coating all the foam I then worked it in by hand. I cleaned up the excess oil by using a clean shop rag.

UNI sells a great cleaner/oil kit. Both are sprays. I've had my UNI for 5 years and only clean/reoil it once a year. I spray the cleaner on it throughly inside and out and work it in good with my fingers. Then rinse with hose pushing on all the foam with fingers.
Let it completely dry and re-oil with the spray. I lightly spray the inside and out as evenly as I can and work it in with my fingers. I DO NOT use that much oil - definitely less than advised by many oiling instructions. I wipe off exterior before installing. You can use the UNI with no oil, but I think lightly oiled is the best.

+1.... except for the no oil. They're designed to be used with oil. No oil and you're letting dirt into your engine.
And after oiling the filter as described and letting it set for a spell, I blot it well with a paper towel until it gets very little oil in the towel.
