Anyone else have trouble getting genuine triumph parts from Bike Bandit? I ordered the gaskets necessary to do my valve adjustment 11 days ago!!! All I can find out is that my order is "in process", no idea when I may actually receive my parts!!! Good thing I can get my shims at the local Honda/Yamaha dealer. I normally call my nearest dealer then wait 2 weeks and make the 190 mile round trip to get my parts, I decided to order from these guys as they've always given me good service and reasonable turn around times, besides I had $32 in Bandit Bucks I needed to use up. It's starting to look like that was a bad call.

The bandit is slow on oem parts. But so are dealers. Dealers don't stock a lot of parts and have to order through Newnan GA just like the bandit does. Give two full weeks to get oem parts from the bandit.
also the bandit has good prices on Yuasa batteries and various tires. Tire turn around is two days from order to receipt. Batteries are about 5 to 7 days.

Depends on the parts. Gaskets are usually pretty fast, a week or two. Intake and exhaust valves, closer to couple months or more.

I've just taken to ordering multiples of everything (gaskets and washers--relatively inexpensive stuff) and well in advance. If I ever get around to powder-coating my extra set of engine covers black (satin or wrinkle) I've already got the gaskets for that swap.

I guess I just get impatient at times, it just annoys me that you can get nearly any part for nearly any cage overnight or maybe 2 days, but bike parts take forever. :|

Yeah, I've become accustomed to getting my parts from them in 2 to 3 days, I saw the disclaimer stating it could take up to ten days for oem triumph parts, so I figured I'd have em inside ten days. I'm just anxious to get this done I'd like to get a few miles on the bike after adjustment for peace of mind, before I head cross country next month.

It's pretty simple economics and logistics, really. You know Triumph doesn't have the dealership or parts and supply network that, say, HD has (nobody does).

I just ordered the plastic cladding that wraps around the key on the left side (I broke the darned thing through ham-handedness). Took 10 days to get the part from Bike Bandit. I thought that was good timing.

I broke the same part it's on my order. I'm now at 19 days and no parts. The best I can get out of Bike Bandit is they should have them by the 15th!!!! Then they'll ship to me, if I'm really lucky I should get them by the 19th or 20th. Pitiful!!! I'm driving to Lexington tomorrow afternoon to get the same parts from the dealer, I ordered them last Wednesday, they are getting quicker. Oh well, at least I'll have spare gaskets.

After 26 days my parts finally shipped with any luck they'll be here before a full month has passed !!! To bad I gave up and drove 180 mile round trip to pick them up at the dealer, who had them for me in 6 business days. I'm thinking this will be my last time ordering Triumph parts form bike bandit, probably my last time ordering anything from them. I understand they don't actually stock Triumph parts but this is ridiculous a month to get what a dealer can have in under a week.

Why would Triumph USA ship parts to Bike Bandit before they ship to parts to Triumph dealerships? Any Triumph dealership in good standing with Triumph USA can get parts in a week or less. Also, I can't imagine a dealership wouldn't ship parts to you, it's not some kind of rocket science only Bike Bandit has expertise in. Besides Bike Bandit won't be any help when you need it, but a dealership you have a relationship with will.

I had a similar experience with bike bandit a couple of years ago. I used them because they had the entire schematic of the bike on the website, and I felt it was fair to give them the order. Took way too long. For Triumph stuff now, I use the dealer I bought the bike from. Hermys, in PA. Friendly people, and quick service. They have no problem shipping it to me up here in MA.

Hermy's has always been like that too. Been getting Triumph parts from them for over 20 years. (not sure exactly how long anymore!) Most of the time I had them ship to me unless I felt like visiting.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that bikebandit can be slow on parts.
