Three didn't make it 2 black and 1 chocolate
Our vet sister inlaw lives 700 k away so was only a phone call away. The second pup when born was very bruised looking and took nearly two hours to come which was a worry.
I had slept out on the verandah for two nights with her because I didn't want her taking off and getting under my ute or somewhere else difficult. I went for a ride Sunday about 10 o'clock after stressing too much and needing to chill out.
I did about 150k and kept calling home to see what was happening , got a call and came home to find one born at 5.00 the last one came at 3.00 in the morn. The last 2 were dead ... I sat by her bed till 5 am in case another one came but it was all over. Quite truamatic experience but in the wild without our interfearing possibly only 5 would have survived .
The black one was a male too how did you know but sorry it's been claimed , they only two days old and all but 2 have been spoken for , shows how popular labs are.
