I occasionally wonder what ever happened to my first Britbike, a '66 BSA 650 Lightning that I bought secondhand from a private party around 1969, and which I traded in for a brand new '71 BSA Rocket 3 at Century Motorcycles in San Pedro CA...a dealership still in operation today and being run by the grandson of the original proprietor, the late Bill Cotton, the gentleman with whom I made that transaction some 40 years ago now.
