So I go to the Sears web page and order a grill and a blu ray player. They say I have to pick them up at the store. This is not a problem Sears is only 3 miles from the house. I get the email last night saying my grill is in. Went down an picked it up this morning and they were so happy to help me at the store. Bring it home and it sets until I can put it together. Well at 6:00 I open the box and find that the top of the grill is crushed. Called Sears and talk to the manager he says bring it back no problem.
Well my son and I take it back. They look at it and say yep you need a new one. Now here is where things go south. They can’t just give me a new one. I have to return the bent one and buy a new one. OK this sounds stupid to me but OK. So I do the return and try to use my paypal debit card (because I had used paypal on line and think they had returned my money to my paypal account) that card is declined. I think that maybe paypal put the money back into my checking account so I pay with my debit card. This is when Sears dude says it will be 7 to 10 business days before I get my money back.
This is when I lost it I tell him to return everything and give me my money. He says he can do the return and since I had used my debit card it would be 7 to 10 days to get my money. I say no get the manager out here. So this 12 year old comes out to try and fix things. This is when I sent my 14 year old to the car. The kid says the sales dude is right. Now they have 600 of my dollars and I want them back. After a lot of yelling I got the 12 year old to give me $300 cash bake for the second grill. Went across the street to Lowes and got grill. The guys at Lowes said if I had any problems they will be happy to do a 1 for 1 swap.
How many of you think I will ever go into a Sears again?
