weather my BA is a 790 or 865, all i know is its year reg on the 1st of jan 2007 on the birtish log book (pink slips i think you call them out there ), the bike was imported from the states as a 2007 it is the carb version, apart from that i dont know........

i think there is a stamp on the cylinder....
i could be wrong, and probubly am...i will look at mine when i get home.
If it isn't broke, I haven't messed with it.

I think all 07 models were 865cc. I am probably wrong don't know why they would change mid year.
08 they went EFI.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

i cant see any stamp on the cylinders, and dont want to strip it down just to messure the cylinders, i did contact a main dealer here but the frame Nos are not listed in this country, i surpose i could take it to a dealers and get the tech staff to have a look..

Here are the Specifications for all the model years up to 2008. States that the engine displacement was increased to 865cc in 2007.
