Mine is a bit of a PITA too, both sides shimmed differently... I think honestly the slots on the brackets themselves are actually TOO closely matched. Not enough slop in the tolerances. Granded, they sit on there nice and tight. I usually have to give my bags a good whack with the heel of my hand to get them to move.
